What makes this house so unique is the fact that it is situated 15 metres above street level. From the road, you enter a private garage with a lift, which opens onto the open plan living room & kitchen. There are 2 terraces here, one with a gas barbeque & table for 6. Up a flight of stairs is the 1st bedroom, with double bed, ensuite bathroom & private terrace. Six steps lead up to the Master bedroom with Super King size bed & large French doors that open onto a private terrace. The views from the master bedroom, bathroom & terrace are truly awe-inspiring. 8 steps lead up to the 3rd bedroom, with double bed & ensuite bathroom.

The villa is a 3 minute walk to the community recreational area where you´ll find a large pool, separate children's pool, playground, tennis court, table tennis, football pitch and even a basketball hoop. Our guests have unlimited complimentary use of these facilities. The closest beach is 5 minutes away and the nearest golf course is less than 10 minutes by car.

This sunny, south facing, vacation home with heated pool, beautiful sea views and large roof top terrace, overlooks Salobrena on Spain´s virtually undiscovered Costa Tropical in Andalucia. The setting of the villa is very unique and picturesque, as the house is built into a huge rock that is bordered by pine trees. It is very peaceful here and one has the feeling of being very close to nature. The plot is south facing so the sun can be enjoyed all day. The roof top terrace is a perfect sun trap. The sunrises are well worth waking up for!

Upon entering the villa, you encounter the spacious, round, open plan living room, dining room and kitchen. The kitchen has a breakfast bar which is great for kids and for enjoying a glass of wine and a tapa. There are 6 large windows that enable you to enjoy the stunning sea views from every angle. There is a French door for easy access to the terrace and pool area. Upstairs, there are 3 bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. The master bedroom and one of the guest bedrooms have access to a terrace that overlook the pool and again offer magnificent views. The master bedroom has a super king size bed. The guest bedroom with the terrace also has a double bed. The third bedroom has 2 twin size beds and there is space for a twin size air mattress if there are 7 people in your party.

The roof top terrace offers truly panoramic views of the sea, the mountains and the best part is the Moorish castle of Salobrena that is illuminated at night. We have sun loungers up here, so that you can catch the last rays of the afternoon sun and you can relax and enjoy the stars after soaking in the hot tub.

Villa Buena Vista has a large 5 x 8.5 metre private, heated pool with safety enclosures to ensure young children don’t enter the pool without adult supervision. The villa also has central hot and cold air conditioning and a spacious covered porch next to the pool area with a built in summer kitchen complete with a drinks fridge, barbeque, sink and work space. This area is the heart of the home as every one loves southern Spain for the possibility of year round outdoor living. This covered porch is beautifully finished in the traditional Spanish style with a stone clad wall and wood beamed ceiling. There are beautiful views from both inside and outside the villa to the sea, mountains and the picturesque castle of Salobrena. This villa is great for a large group because between the roof top terrace, the balcony off the great room and the large covered porch and the open pool terrace, there is space for everyone. If someone wants to be alone they can find a quiet sunny place and when everyone wants to be together there is space to accommodate everyone at one table.

Internally, the villa provides the following accommodation: spacious open plan lounge/diner, fully equipped open plan kitchen, master suite with ensuite bathroom that features a rounded corner tub and a walk-in shower, a queen size bedroom with ensuite, two twin rooms, one that sleeps 3 and one that sleeps 2 and a main bathroom. Villa Mira Mar is a luxury villa tucked away on a very quiet side street within a peaceful & established residential community. Luxuries include 2 large covered porches to stay cool in summer, an 11 meter long heated pool for year round use, central hot and cold air conditioning and superb finishes and furnishings. From the private parking area, you ascend a few stairs leading to a large south facing terrace with a beautiful long, sinuous pool with decorative rock features and a rustic style Spanish covered porch that really belongs on a magazine cover. On this large terrace, there are comfortable sun loungers and plenty of space to sit pool side (either in the shade or in the sun) and take in the wonderful uninterrupted sea views. The entrance to the villa is off of this terrace, which means the pool and terrace area can be completely closed off to young children merely by closing the front door.

Upon entering the villa, you are faced with an enormous, beautifully decorated open plan lounge and dining room with views to the sea from every imaginable angle. There are 2 large sliding glass doors that lead to terraces, one of which is covered. This a perfect spot for al fresco dining as it is very close to the large, state of the art kitchen. There is a lovely herb garden on the terrace just outside the kitchen door to assist you in creating delightful Mediterranean meals. On the entry level, there is also a bedroom with a queen size bed and an ensuite bathroom. Upstairs there are 3 very ample sized bedrooms, one of which can sleep up to 4 people (children just love this room)! The master bedroom has a large and luxurious ensuite bath done completely in tumbled marble. The master bedroom itself has views are beyond description. There are 5 large windows from which to enjoy the amazing views of the sea, the village and beach of Salobrena and the mountains. There is a king size bed that floats in the middle of the room allowing for maximum optimisation of the views. There is a terrace off of the master bedroom. The other 2 bedrooms on this floor also have great views and terraces. There is a lovely guest bathroom with a combination shower/bath for the use of both upstairs bedrooms. You really need to see this villa for yourself to really appreciate how lovely it is!

The villa is unique in every sense of the word. It is a bit Moroccan in feel because of the cupolas yet the touches of mosaic tile remind others of the famous Spanish architect, Antoni Gaudi. The windows have a decorative free form moulding that incorporates the blue mosaic tile. This contrasts beautifully with the crisp white walls of the exterior of the villa and the cobalt blue skies of Andalucia. The border walls and roof have a wave form. Overall the exterior of the villa gives the impression of sky and sea. It is hard to do this justice in words. The villa must be seen to be truly appreciated. All this beauty on the outside can be appreciated even more inside because in the lounge there are 5+ metre high ceilings and the inside of the dome is exposed. High up on the walls of the lounge is a band of transparent glass blocks. This allows one to enjoy the beautiful blue skies from inside the lounge. If you aren’t totally impressed by the cupola, you will be by the unrivalled and uninterrupted views to the sea and the Moorish castle of Salobrena, which is illuminated at night.
