A pretty Georgian cottage renovated to a high standard, close to the sea – sleeps 3.

This pretty Georgian cottage has recently undergone a complete refurbishment and successfully combines the warm atmosphere of a period cottage with smart contemporary fittings. Ideally located close to Aldeburgh’s shops and restaurants and the beach.

Stepping in through the front door there’s a welcoming living room with leather sofa and armchair, open fire and natural coir rug. Beyond this is a light and airy kitchen-diner with a beautiful hand-made kitchen including a Smeg range cooker and belfast sink and a table and chairs to seat four people. A door from the kitchen leads straight out to the south-facing patio garden with an outside table and chairs for outdoor dining on sunny days.

From the living room steep stairs lead to up to two bedrooms and a bathroom. The large double bedroom has a handmade oak bed, white-washed floor boards and natural coir rug. The second bedroom is small with a single bed and south-facing views. In the bathroom is a freestanding roll-top bath, wc and sink. There is also a large shower in the double bedroom. This is a beautifully presented property with lots of character.

Bed linen and towels included plus a bottle of wine and biscuits to get your break off to a relaxing start.

Charming 16th Century Cottage next to famous 'Cathedral'. Sleeps 4.

The present owners have run Fern Cottage successfully as a holiday cottage since 1988. It is situated in the shadow of the internationally famous 'Cathedral of the Marshes’, down a lane leading to Blythburgh Marshes, that was originally the old Yarmouth Road; From Cromwell’s soldiers to Charles Dickens on his way to Blundeston in Norfolk, all have past this magical setting that is Fern Cottage. Thought to have been built in the 16th century, some of the beams used in its construction were probably taken from redundant ships when Blythburgh ceased to be a flourishing inland port in the 18th Century.

A pretty enclosed garden with lawn, flowers beds and garden, table and chairs is accessed from the lane by a five bar and wicket gate where there is standing room for two cars. A kitchen with table and chairs, electric oven, microwave and fridge leads to a small hallway with a shower room and toilet leading off. The cosy lounge has an open fire, TV, video and DVD and has a wonderful atmosphere to relax in after a days walking the marshes and the River Blyth or enjoying the beaches of Southwold and Walberswick. Steep cottage stairs lead to a landing bedroom with double bed, which in turn leads to another bedroom with two singles. Three double duvets and pillows are provided but not linen. Pets are welcome and there are lots of walks in the immediate vicinity and a large enclosed field adjacent to the lane.

Charming cottage tucked away down a quiet country lane within easy walking distance of famous Snape Maltings. Sleeps 4.

Squirrel Cottage is a charming pink cottage in the centre of a small terrace of three, situated on a private driveway, tucked away near the end of a quiet country lane. The cottage has off road parking and is in easy walking distance from the famous Snape Maltings. The cottage is perfectly situated for exploring the Suffolk heritage coast on foot, cycle or by car with the beautiful seaside towns of Aldeburgh and Southwold only a short distance away. Snape is an area of outstanding natural beauty famous for it’s forest walks, salt marshes and wide esturies. The RSPB have also just purchased several hectares of land 2 minutes away from the cottage, which will be returned to their natural state of marsh/wetlands, the natural habitat for Bittern and Marsh Harriers.

The sitting/dining room is a cosy, comfortably furnished room with a wood-burning stove (for which a basket of logs is provided), Colour TV, DVD, CD/cassette radio and dining table seating up to six. There is also a small reading room downstairs with a single futon which doubles as a third bedroom. The kitchen is well equipped with electric cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster etc., and looks out on to a beautifully paved terraced garden. The bathroom is situated upstairs along with two tastefully furnished bedrooms - one with a 4’6 bed, the other with a 4’ bed. Bed linen and towels are provided. The cottage is heated by electric storage heaters. Two cycles and a barbeque can be made available if required. A welcome basket is provided on arrival with fresh free-range eggs from our very own hens as well as some essentials to ensure you can make a hot drink and have a snack on arrival. We regret no smoking and no pets. Changeover day is Saturday. Weekends and 3-night breaks subject to availability.

Facing open farm land Sunny Cottage is at the end of a small terrace of cottages close to Blythburgh Pottery Suffolks smallest working pottery. The area is perfect for walking with walks along the banks of the river Blyth to nearby Walberswick, and a ferryman will row you across the river to Southwold, or you can cross by the old Bailey Bridge. Caught in a gentle time warp Southwold gently refuses to be commercialised and with its high street of small shops and galleries is still one of East Anglias best kept secrets. Also nearby is the RSPB reserve at Minsmere for bird watchers.

Downstairs, the cottage has a large fully-equipped kitchen, separate dining room, lounge with log fire and T.V, and a bathroom with hip bath/shower and toilet. Steep cottage stairs lead to landing bedroom with twin beds, leading to the main bedroom with a four poster bed. The cottage is double glazed and there is oil fired central heating for the cooler seasons. Sunny cottage has a small enclosed garden and off road parking.

Like many other people, we have rented holiday accommodation and sometimes know the disappointment when the promised holiday cottage turns out to be less than 'inviting'. When we decided to let Sunny Cottage, we therefore put a great deal of thought into ensuring that it not only comes up to, but hopefully surpasses your expectations.

Old Mill Farm holiday cottage comprises a self contained wing of a beautiful 17th Century farmhouse on the outskirts of the pretty Norfolk village of Garboldisham lying close to the Norfolk/Suffolk border. Situated in an idyllic position next to the village common and Garboldisham windmill and set in large grounds, much of which is meadowland dotted with wild flowers, this is truly a tranquil place to relax and unwind. In the vicinity there are plenty of walking and cycling routes and also close at hand are Bressingham Steam Museum and Gardens, Banham Zoo and Snetterton Racing Circuit. The towns of Diss and Bury St. Edmunds are well worth a visit for curiosities such as Gaze's Auction Sale and England's smallest pub.

The cottage itself has a large sitting/dining room with comfy sofas, dining table and chairs, colour TV and video. There is a small but fully equipped kitchen with fridge, cooker, microwave etc., two bedrooms, one double and one twin (both of which overlook the windmill), bathroom with wc, wash basin and bath with shower attachment, plus a small utility area with automatic washing machine. Outside there is a private garden with furniture and BBQ together with parking. The cottage has oil fired central heating and double glazing and together with its beams, cottage doors, pine furniture and bygones, has a warm welcoming atmosphere. Pets are welcome.

Situated on the fringe of the village of Dunwich in woodland surroundings with abundant wildlife, the cottage is within walking distance of the village, the RSPB Minsmere Bird Sanctuary and in close proximity to the sea. There are many excellent and beautiful walks across heathland, woods and along the shore. Dunwich is an as-yet unspoilt Coastal Village with only a pub, The Ship, and Fish and Chip café in a scenic part of the Suffolk Coast. Surrounding towns and villages within easy reach include Walberswick, Aldburgh, Thorpness and Southwold. The nearest shop is in Westleton two miles away. The Bridge Nurseries closeby provide excellent meals.

Beautifully furnished and well-equipped, the cottage accommodation is all on the one level. A large entrance hall leads to the spacious beamed sitting room, with comfortable seating, feature fireplace (not used), colour TV and radio / CD / tape player. The kitchen has fitted units and is well-equipped, including electric hob / oven, microwave, fridge / freezer and washing machine. The cottage has two ensuite bedrooms - one double and one twin, having bath with shower attachment; there is also an additional separate wc. Situated in a secluded wooded setting in rural Suffolk just a few miles from the glorious Heritage coastline, these four beautifully-furnished cottages are designed for comfort and relaxation. Inside, each comes with stripped floors, original art and Persian rugs; outdoors, each cottage has a raised decking area for eating, drinking and barbecuing. The cottages are set in the peaceful grounds of the owners' 70 acre farm and are reached down a private tree-lined drive. Guests can enjoy a 36-foot indoor swimming pool which is heated all year round and open from 9am to 8pm; private swimming sessions are available by request.

The cottages sleep up to 4 adults (plus baby). Each features a spacious living room, country-style kitchen, and two bedrooms with either single or en suite bathrooms, with both baths and showers. Modern facilities include dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, DVD colour TV, stereo, cot and high chair. Pets are welcome by arrangement, but please note, there is no smoking in the cottages.

The grounds of the farm are fully accessible for rambling and nature watching, with wide wild natural field margins. In addition, the traditional market towns of Halesworth and Bungay are 5 miles away whilst Beccles, gateway to the southern Norfolk Broads and offering boat hire, lies 7 miles away. To the East, Southwold's elegant seaside delights are a step back to a more elegant time and reflect the unchanged nature of this friendly part of Suffolk.

This two storey apartment has been designed as a luxury weekend/holiday retreat to appeal to 1 or 2 discerning couples who like 5 star accommodation; we feel that this property is not suitable for children. The apartment is very light, warm and airy with the sun pouring in through the many huge bay windows throughout the day. All the rooms have wonderful views of the town and beach.

Aldeburgh is famous for its culture – with art galleries, poetry and literary weekends and its music festival held in June each year. It is also close to a number of nature reserves and bird sanctuaries for wonderful walks. The town of Aldeburgh itself remains unspoilt and appeals to those who enjoy healthy, outdoor pursuits such as sailing, golf and tennis as well as browsing in our antique shops and eating in the many fine restaurants and cafes.

Numerous places of interest to visit nearby include Snape Maltings, Minsmere bird sanctuary, castles at Orford and Framlingham and sandy beaches at Walberswick and Southwold.

Crossing Cottage is detached, built about 100 years ago in Aldeburgh on the now disused Aldeburgh - Leiston railway line. It lies at the end of a quiet lane where three footpaths meet leading to the beach, the town and Thorpness (1.5 miles).

Crossing Cottage has a lounge, conservatory, kitchen, utility area, rear lobby, one double bedroom and two single bedrooms (one with pull-out mattress (+1)) and a bathroom with bath and separate shower cubicle. Pear Tree Cottage stands next to the impressive Holy Trinity Church of Blythburgh, just two minutes walk away from the local shop and post office, as well as the welcoming local pub. On the doorstep are pretty walks along the Blyth River, and for keen walkers, there are many official footpaths stretching along the coast. The beautiful Heritage Coast is six minutes drive away, either to Southwold or Walberswick, and Aldeburgh is just 25 minutes away. Blythburgh Church is often used as a venue for the world-famous Aldeburgh Festival, and Pear Tree Cottage would be a marvellous place to stay whilst enjoying the Literary Festivals organised in the area over the Spring/Autumn.

The sitting room has an open fireplace, TV, video and DVD, with low ceiling with exposed beams. There are two bathrooms - one upstairs with roll-top bath, and a fully-tiled 'wet-room' on the ground floor, which includes wc and hand basin. Outside is a lovely, private, enclosed garden. Towels and sheets are provided, and well behaved dogs are welcome by arrangement, but sorry, we do not accept smokers.

Within easy reach of the Heritage Coast, Stable Cottage is an ideal base for both the family holiday or for those wishing to explore the peace and tranquility of the Suffolk countryside and Heritage Coast. Close to several RSPB bird reserves, it is also only a few miles from the arts and music centres of Snape and Aldeburgh. Southwold and Walberswick are also within easy reach. Saxmundham is a small former market town with most amenities including Chinese and Indian takeaways/restaurants, a large Somerfield supermarket, iron mongers, opticians, newsagents etc, all within 5 minutes walking distance. However, we are on the edge of Saxmundham, in a rural setting amongst fields and the cottage looks over a small farm with cattle. So a good mix of urban facilities in a country environment. We are 7 miles from the sea, specifically the lovely town of Aldeburgh and about 20 minutes from the equally lovely Southwold, surrounded by fields, forests and beaches.

The delightful former stable has been beautifully converted and furnished to a high standard, to provide high quality accommodation for up to six people. On the ground floor, the accommodation comprises conservatory, fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, living / dining room with a 4 seater and 3 seater sofas, side tables, tv etc and dining table with 6 chairs, one double bedroom with King-size bed, and bathroom with bath, wash basin and wc. Upstairs, there are two further bedrooms - one double, one twin, together with a shower / wet room, with shower and hand-basin. Outside is a secluded lawned garden with access to both living room and bedroom on the ground floor, and off-road parking is provided on the driveway. The cottage has central heating and all utility costs and cleaning charges are included in the hiring fee.

Situated in the grounds of our 500 year old farmhouse, East Green Farm Cottages have been sympathetically converted to provide spacious, south facing, four-star holiday cottages, set in 13 acres of paddocks, ponds, a tennis court and a heated outdoor swimming pool. A couple of miles from the beautiful Heritage Coast, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there is a feeling of peace and tranquillity even in the height of summer, and it is an ideal place to unwind and explore the many attractive towns, villages, rivers and seaside resorts on our doorstep. The Dairy is a light, two storey converted barn with open plan kitchen and sitting room, 1 double bedroom with ensuite shower room downstairs, and 2 twin rooms with shared bathroom upstairs, reached from a galleried landing. The Granary is a spacious cottage with beamed open plan kitchen / dining room with wooden floors, sitting room with wood burning stove, bathroom with shower over bath and three bedrooms (1 dbl, 2 twins). The Hayloft is a spacious two storey converted barn with large open plan sitting room / dining room / kitchen, flooded with light from large windows on three sides of the room. Hacheston is a pretty rural village between Woodbridge and Framlingham, well located for exploring Suffolk’s beautiful countryside and coastline. It has a village store, garden nursery with a very good farm shop and an eleventh century village church. Wickham Market, with its more extensive shops, restaurants and pubs is only two minutes drive away. On the coast, Orford, Snape, with the famous Snape Maltings concert hall, Aldeburgh, Thorpeness and Dunwich are within easy reach. Minsmere’s nature reserve, Walberswick and Southwold are also readily accessible.

Lodge Cottage is a charming, thatched, weatherboarded colonial style building, situated in the grounds of Hacheston Lodge. It offers comfortable accommodation for 5/6 people, with bedrooms at ground and basement level, with the living space above. Visitors have exclusive use of a huge grassed garden beyond their private parking area, where cricket, rounders etc can be played as well as access to the acres of paddocks within Hacheston Lodge grounds. The heated pool is open from May to September inclusive.

The cottage has a large kitchen/breakfast room with stone flooring, a kitchen table which seats 8 and all modern appliances: Bosch dishwasher, Neff gas hob and electric fan oven and larder fridge/ freezer. The sitting room with wooden flooring has a wood burner, a TV/ DVD and video player and CD player. It is very light due to the partly glazed roof, floor length windows and French doors which lead onto the enclosed pretty courtyard garden which catches the sun from midday to early evening. Upstairs there are three bedrooms all with wooden flooring – the Master bedroom with King size bed, a double bedroom with double bed and the third bedroom with bunk beds.
