Le Chalet Fischer is situated approximately 60km from Geneva, in Verchaix, a charming Savoyard village very near to Samoens and Morillon at a gateway to Le Grand Massif ski domain (Flaine ski area - 260km ski slopes).

Traditional Savoyard chalet/farmhouse dating from 1847 which has been restored and modern amenities installed whilst keeping its character intact. It is situated at an altutude of 800 meters in a tranquil and charming Alpine hamlet midway between Morzine and Thonon-les Bains. From its windows there are panoramic views across to Mount Hermone and as far as the Swiss Jura.

The living area is on three floors and represents as much as 100 square meters of space. The most important room is the large kitchen/lounge on the second floor with original beams, pine-parquet floor, wooden ceilings, white walls and a cosy wood-burning stove. A French window opens onto a balcony for meals outside and sunbathing. The five bedrooms consist of three doubles, a twin and a single. The bathroom contains a bath, shower, washbasin and WC. There is also a shower room with washbasin and WC. Cars can be parked in the small square below the house.

Positioned at the junction of the Morzine and Abondance valleys, this chalet makes a good base from which to access the ski slopes of these two valleys. It should appeal to those who want to enjoy good skiing, but also avoid the high costs and often cramped living conditions provided in the centre of ski resorts.

Built in 2005, Chalet Papillon is set in a small cluster of properties, in an enviable position above the historic village of Samoens. It offers the ideal location to get away from it all, yet is conveniently located, with Samoens and all it's amenities, a 15 minute walk or 2 minute drive away. The ski lift is 2km away. The chalet is available on a self catered basis, although we are able to offer flexible catering at this property.

The chalet is truly impressive, with high ceilings, exposed beams and quality throughout. The living area is extremely large, with stunning views through the floor to ceiling windows, across much of the living area. The log burning fire, for those cosy nights in, is surrounded by deep and comfy leather sofas. There is a large Plasma Satellite TV with DVD player and stereo. Situated off the living room is the spacious dining area, very comfortable for 9 people around the lovely wooden table with leather chairs. The open plan kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, full size oven and ceramic hob, dishwasher and ample workspace. A large south facing balcony offers ample space for relaxing and outside dining. There is also a large hot tub for those bubbly nights in!

The 4 bedrooms are on the first floor, 2 of which are double ensuite with large power showers, wc's and sinks, with sunny balconies off each. There is a twin bedroom and the fourth bedroom has a set of full size bunk beds and a pull out bed. A further family bathroom with full size bath and integrated shower, sink and wc is also on this level, as well as another wc. The ground floor of the chalet has a fantastic games room, offering full size pool table, table tennis, darts and air hockey. The chalet benefits from under floor heating, it's own double garage, ski and boot room and ample storage for equipment and bikes.

The chalet is off the main Samoëns valley road, in the wide Giffre valley, with a fully fitted kitchen, L shaped living/dining area with open fireplace, large south facing balcony, 4 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms - comfortably sleeping 8, but can sleep up to 10 plus cot. 80 metres from the Chalet is a Bakery open early for croissants and baguettes.

The unspoilt Alpine village of Morillon is a 10 minute walk, with restaurants, ski school office and a choice of ski hire shops. The chalet is 100 metres from the ski bus stop and 1 km from the Morillon télécabine with a large free car park, connecting easily into the vast Grand Massif ski circuit with 265km of pistes. The ski lift is a 15 minute walk in ordinary shoes and 20 minutes in ski boots.

There is excellent skiing on the north facing slopes above Morillon. There are a variety of runs through the trees with mountain cafés. Marvel is a long green/blue run sheltered by the trees from the top of the Morillon slopes to Morillon Les Esserts. There is also an excellent run back to the village. There is reliable snowfall in the winter because of the Mont Blanc effect.

About 1 hour from Geneva, Chalet Basile is situated on the mountain side at 1250m, above the beautiful spa town of St. Gervais-les-Bains, with stunning views over the Val Montjoux and of Mont Blanc. It is just a 5 minute drive further up the mountain from the chalet to the ski schools and gondolas at Le Bettex, taking you to the slopes and magnificent scenery above Megeve.

The chalet is a comfortable and well-equipped home, and sleeping 10, is ideal in size for two large families or a number of smaller groups. There is a large open-plan living and dining area, with a log fire, and TV/DVD, and an open well-equipped kitchen, including dishwasher. There are five double bedrooms, three with balconies, and three bathrooms.

The surrounding area provides many additional skiing options - such as Les Contamines, Les Houches or Chamonix - all on the Mont Blanc pass. In summer there is some of the loveliest scenery and best walking in the whole of the Alps.

A comfortable and affordable, fully equipped chalet, in the beautiful and peaceful Vallee de la Manche area in Morzine. Self-catered, though we can arrange catered if needed. The chalet is 2km from the centre of Morzine, and is right next to a free ski bus stop. Nearest lift is a three minute ride away. Our local representative is on hand for advice on lessons, equipment hire and any other requirements.

There are four bedrooms plus twin beds on the mezzanine and two bathrooms to accommodate up to 10 people. The combined lounge/dining area has an open log fire, with a HiFi system, and WiFi broadband internet access. There is a separate lounge on the mezzanine equipped with TV, DVD, and Freesat. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, dishwasher, microwave, fan assisted oven and gas hob. Just five miles from the centre of Morzine, Chalet Juniper is ideally situated to ski and explore the entire Portes du Soleil area. During the winter months enjoy skiing on the un-crowded slopes of La Grande Terche, take the Ardent lift direct to Avoriaz with easy access to Chatel and the Swiss resorts, such as Morgins. Or simply drive or take the free bus into Morzine to enjoy the resorts of Morzine and Les Gets.

The chalet has four bedrooms. Two rooms are fitted with double beds; the third has twin single beds. The family room has a double bed with a single bunk above; there is also a set of bunk beds in this room so it can sleep up to five people. The master bedroom has a large en-suite bathroom. The second double bedroom, situated on the ground floor, has a en-suite shower room. There is a shower room and separate toilet upstairs; there is also a separate toilet on the ground floor. Chalet Annabelle is a modern chalet with a traditional local Savoyarde feel and has undergone extensive renovations throughout summer 08. The guest accommodation is over two floors with a spacious communal area, open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area. The large patio windows, balconies and terrace afford spectacular views of the entire Mont Blanc Massif extending from les Houches to le Tour, taking in le Brévent, les Grand Montets and the breathtaking Aiguille du Midi. The chalet sleeps eleven people comfortably.

The historic village of Samoens is a wonderful ski destination - only 50 minutes by car from Geneva airport (maximising skiing time!), as well as being a traditionally French village, with a beautiful mediaeval church and square. It's not just a holiday resort - it has a life of its own. There is every opportunity to sample the local food and wine in the many restaurants. Or you can buy produce in the local market and try your own hand at serving up Savoyard - fondues and racelettes, for example. The skiing too, is very good. Samoens is part of the large Grand Massif ski area Flaine, Morillon and Les Carroz are the linked resorts. But, as if that were not enough, Les Gets and the Portes de Soleil are only a twenty-five minute drive away.

We liked the skiing in Samoens so much that we bought a piece of ground there and built Chalet Teresa. Opened for ski season 2005-6 this is a luxury chalet, with 5 bedrooms to sleep up to 14. All five bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and twin beds, with two having additional beds to accommodate up to 14 guests. The bed arrangement is flexible and can be adjusted to suit your party. There is a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwsher, cooker and oven and a breakfast bar. The dining table seats 12 and the large living area, designed round a traditional Savoyard log fire (logs supplied), includes Satellite TV, DVD and Video player and a Hi-Fi system.
