“Le
Bothy” (and from December 2003 its sister chalet “Les
Fraises Sauvages”) is situated 1 km from the attractive village
resort of Les Contamines in a quiet hamlet with stunning views of
the mountains in all directions; the main ski lifts are about 2km
from the chalet. The
owners (Sarah is English, Bruno French) live close by and are on
hand to help you make the most of your holiday with local information
and advice.
Built
in summer 2001, this fabulous traditional style all wood ski chalet
is tastefully decorated in Savoyard style, and
consists of 2 bedrooms on the first floor (one double, one triple),
with a well equipped open plan kitchen (including dishwasher) /
living / dining area and luxurious bathroom downstairs. Outside,
there is a south facing wooden deck and garden with swings and playhouse.
“Les Fraises Sauvages” is a few hundred yards away and
almost identical to “Le Bothy”. |

The
chalet is situated in Vallandry, which is one of the 4 ski areas
that make up the greater Les Arcs area that has over 210km of piste.
You can ski back to the chalet and it’s only 200m from the main
resort lift giving you direct access to the larger ski area of Les
Arcs.
The
chalet has 2 floors with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets and
can sleep up to 6 people. The first floor has the chalet entrance,
going through into an open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area
including dishwasher. The living area has 2 large comfortable sofas,
open fire, satellite TV, stereo with CD-player. The dining area
has a large table, comfortably seating 6. This floor has a toilet
in the entrance area. The ground floor has 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms
(one with bath, washbasin and toilet and one with shower and washbasin).
Both bedrooms are twins, but the single beds are designed to be
able to be pushed together to make doubles.

Traditional
Savoyard chalet/farmhouse dating from 1847 which has been restored
and modern amenities installed whilst keeping its character intact.
It is situated at an altutude of 800 meters in a tranquil
and charming Alpine hamlet midway between Morzine and Thonon-les
Bains. From its windows there are panoramic views across to Mount
Hermone and as far as the Swiss Jura.
The
living area is on three floors and represents as much as 100 square
meters of space. The most important room is the large kitchen/lounge
on the second floor with original beams, pine-parquet floor, wooden
ceilings, white walls and a cosy wood-burning stove. A French window
opens onto a balcony for meals outside and sunbathing. The five
bedrooms consist of three doubles, a twin and a single. The
bathroom contains a bath, shower, washbasin and WC. There is also
a shower room with washbasin and WC. Cars can be parked in
the small square below the house. |

After
many years skiing in some of France's well known purpose built resorts,
it made a pleasant change to find Les Carroz hidden in the Grand
Massif ski area ( 265 kms of piste, including Flaine, Samoens, Morillon,
and Sixt). Even with recent expansion it still maintains
it's village atmosphere and provides a different skiing experience
from the usual French resorts - easy access to the ski areas and
many good restaurants and shops at realistic prices.
Situated
at the top of the village with views over
Les Carroz and down to Cluses in the valley, the chalet is 20 metres
from the ski bus stop and 15 minutes walk from village centre.
The large open plan lounge / dining / kitchen area, comprises dining
area with dining table and chairs for eight, lounge area with 2
sofabeds, TV and hi-fi, and fully equipped kitchen with full size
cooker, fridge / freezer and dishwasher. Spiral stairs lead
down to 3 bedrooms - 2 double and a bunkroom. There is one

Maison
Rose is a traditional stone chalet full of character and charm. Not
only is the chalet close to the lifts it is also situated in the heart
of the village within a short walk to the local bars and restaurants. The
chalet has an excellent fireplace for "chilling-out" after a monster
day on the piste. Its also equipped with TV, video games, board games,
VCR with an extensive video library, and stereo for your entertainment.
The

Chalet Fischer is situated approximately 60km from Geneva, in Verchaix,
a charming Savoyard village near to Samoens at a gateway to Le Grand
Massif ski domain (Flaine ski area - 260km pistes).
The
chalet is in a magnificent setting, facing due south and offering
spectacular panoramic views. It is a modern construction,

This
4 star chalet is in the best position of any chalet in the whole
resort, with the piste passing 5m from its back doorstep giving
excellent ski in / out skiing. It’s only 250m down to the
resort centre & lift, giving you direct access to the larger
ski area of Les Arcs.
The
chalet is split over 3 floors with 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and can
sleep up to 12 guests. The ground floor has 3 bedrooms and
two bathrooms and a separate toilet. All bedrooms can either be
doubles or twins. The remaining two bedrooms are on the top floor,
both with balconies. One is a mezzanine, and the other is a large
family room capable of sleeping at least 4. The lounge also has

Places is a traditional alpine farmhouse which was constructed in
1828 and extensively restored to a high standard in 1995.
The accommodation is flexible and can be rented as a whole,
or as self contained apartments with 4, 6 or 8 bedrooms.
