Situated within the Yorkshire Dales National Park, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty, the cottage is also within easy reach of the Yorkshire Moors and Lake District, and has an abundance of places to visit, from castles to waterfalls. A traditional dales village pub and tearoom/bistro are within 100 yards of the cottage, with Reeth and Richmond providing easily accessible facilities. The local shop and good pub food are three miles away.
