The picturesque village of Blagdon nestles between the Mendip Hills and Blagdon Lake, ideally situated for anyone wanting to explore the lovely cities of Bristol, Bath and Wells - all within a short distance - as well as other interesting places of interest closeby such as Cheddar, Clevedon, Wookey Hole, Weston-Super-Mare etc. The cottage has been fully modernised but retains many original features such as original flagstone floor, original fireplace and exposed beams. On the ground floor is the lounge, with woodburner, and a separate kitchen. From the kitchen a concealed staircase leads to the bedroom and en suite bathroom. Outside is a private patio - with table and chairs and a variety of tubs with flowers and shrubs. Off the patio is a small outbuilding with washing machine and room to store bikes, walking/fishing equipment. The whole cottage has been tastefully decorated and is well equipped for summer or winter holidays and short breaks. |

Close to Somerset's coast, in a beautiful part of Englands West Country, Hope Farm has four non-smoking, self-catering holiday cottages, particularly ideal for families, dog lovers and the disabled, being all ground floor accommodation and having outdoor play area and games room, with nearby walks. The cottages are set in peaceful countryside, on the edge of picturesque Lympsham village. The four holiday cottages have been sympathetically converted from the old farmyard outbuildings and have views across the pretty lawned courtyard and open fields behind. Each cottage has tasteful and relaxing accommodation for four people and a baby, with an open plan living room/kitchen, two bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with twin beds) and two bathrooms; a Z bed is available for a fifth person. All the cottages are on the ground floor and have easy wheelchair access throughout. Front door ramps and other aids for the elderly or disabled are available and a wheelchair can be hired and delivered. We welcome a well-behaved dog into each cottage, by prior arrangement. Broadband access is available. |

Owl Cottage is adjacent to the Self Realization Meditation Healing Centre which offers access to the indoor heated swimming pool (at £3.00 per person at prearranged times), walks within their 3½ acre gardens with ponds and wildlife garden and use of two meditation rooms. Therapy sessions and yoga classes can be booked. A central location, with easy access to the north and south coast, woods, nature reserves and moorlands. Walks from the cottage in open countryside to Cadbury Castle and Corton Denham Ridge, the Leyland Trail and Monarch Way. Ham Hill, Montacute House, Glastonbury Tor, the Fleet Air Arm Museum, Haynes Motor Museum, Cricket St Thomas Wild life Park are within easy distance. The cities of Bath, Bristol and Exeter are just an hour away. Yeovil with modern shopping facilities and cinema and the historical town of Sherborne, with its tearooms, specialised shops, Abbey and Castles are a short drive away. |

Dunster is one of the prettiest villages in England and is situated on the fringe of Exmoor National Park with its wonderful moorland and countryside walks, yet it is also only a 5 minute drive from the seaside town of Minehead with its long sandy beaches, the steam railway, and all the usual High Street Shops. Pike's Crescent is a newly furnished and well maintained three bedroom modern village house situated in the heart of Dunster and close to all amenities including the ancient Yarn Market, Medieval Castle and Church as well as several good quality restaurants. The house is one of four in a small Crescent which was built only 10 years ago. At the property there is an open plan sitting room and separate dining area, fully fitted and equipped kitchen with Washing Machine, Tumble dryer, Dishwasher and Gas hob with electric fan oven, and a downstairs cloakroom. Upstairs is the master double bedroom with ensuite shower room, twin bedroom, single bedroom with guest bed and full family bathroom.
