The barn has oil-fired central heating, as well as a wood burning stove to welcome you after that bracing walk on Holkham beach! The vaulted living room has a leather 2-seater sofa and two fireside chairs. There is a 23" Flat-screen TV with Freeview, DVD and CD player. This charming traditional flint cottage is tucked away in the picturesque village of Blakeney on the North Norfolk Coast, part of the largest coastal nature reserve in England and Wales. Blakeney is particularly known for its sheltered harbour and quay, and the village provides a good range of local shops, restaurants and pubs. The cottage is about 3 minutes' walk away from the quay, and excellent pubs such as The Kings Arms and The White Horse.

Beautifully restored, this luxurious hideaway combines period charm with modern day comfort. Wren Cottage is beautifully furnished and very well appointed. Downstairs it includes a modern fitted kitchen, a delightful cosy living room, with rugs laid over a pamment tile floor, and a traditional open fireplace. Through from the sitting room is an inner hallway with the ground floor bathroom off, and a broad flight of stairs to the first floor. The cottage would originally have had 2 bedrooms, but the first floor has now been laid out as one very large and luxurious bedroom, with King size bed, traditional pine furniture and lovely views over the marshes towards Blakeney Point. This former barn has recently been converted to provide cosy accommodation split across two properties, situated on a working arable farm in the rural village of Harpley, some twenty minutes from the beautiful North Norfolk Coast. The properties are located close to the popular Lower Farm Bed and Breakfast, and the farm also offers stabling for horse riding holidays, with excellent rural rides along Peddars way and the coast. The village is next door to Houghton Hall and the Sandringham Estate, with the Peddars Way running close to the farm. Brancaster, Burnham Market, Hunstanton and Holkham are all within close reach. The little market towns of Fakenham, Swaffham and Kings Lynn are also nearby.

Welcome to Heacham Holiday Cottages! Set in the very heart of the lovely unspoilt coastal village of Heacham is this privately owned and delightfully presented popular holiday cottage offering top quality self catering accommodation and sleeping up to 4 guests. Notable for being the home of Norfolk Lavender and surrounding lavender fields, Heacham is also well known for its associations with Pocohontas. The village lies just 2 miles south of the popular tourist resort of Hunstanton and the long stretches of golden sandy beaches of Old Hunstanton, Holme, Thornham, Brancaster etc for which North Norfolk is so well known are just around the corner. The area is also well known to bird watchers and the RSPB’s reserves at the neighbouring villages of Snettisham (also famous for being the finding place of Boadicaea's golden torcs) and a little further round the coast at Titchwell, attract many visitors all year round.

Tawny Cottage is a pretty cottage in a quiet south facing terrace, built in 1845 of carrstone which is typical of the area. It has been recently renovated to a high standard and is tastefully decorated, clean and well equipped throughout. Downstairs is a nicely furnished sitting room with comfortable seating, colour TV and video, beamed kitchen / dining room with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, dining table and chairs, CD and radio player, and utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Holt is a small, award winning country town serving the surrounding villages. There are ample pubs, restaurants and surprisingly stylish shops abound. Holt is only 4 miles from the coast at Cley-Next-The-Sea and Blakeney with the seaside resorts of Sheringham and Cromer less than 10 miles away. It is ideally situated for walking, bird watching, horse riding or sightseeing. You can take the ‘Holt Flyer’ - the Routemaster double-decker bus that carries you to the station to catch the steam train across the heath and coast to Sheringham. Alternatively, take a boat trip to see the seals at Blakeney. Don’t forget to buy some mussels or crab for your tea!

Jim’s Cottage is situated in a quiet cul-de sac adjacent to the Holt Country Park and a short walk to the centre of the town. It is a traditional, mid-Victorian, brick and flint workman’s cottage and retains much of its original charm with lumpy plaster, stripped wooden doors, oak floors, open fireplace and steep stairs. However, it has a fully fitted kitchen, bathroom and gas central heating. Jim’s cottage sleeps 4 in a double and a twin room. The excellent, safe garden makes it an ideal cottage for families, and both children and smokers are accepted, but sorry, no pets. Weekends and Short Breaks available between October and May.

The Old Joinery is one of two newly built cottages sharing a secluded site once occupied by a carpenter's workshop and store, just a 3 minute walk from the High Street of the unspoilt village of Cley-Next-The-Sea, on the beautiful North Norfolk coast. Cley is a delightful village with two pubs (both serving real ale and excellent food!), a noted delicatessen, a pottery and a traditional smokehouse selling smoked fishes and pates.

Great attention to detail has been paid to both the building of the cottage, as well as to its decor and furnishings. Externally, it is built from a combination of flint, brick and shiplap, under a traditional pantile roof, with a south-facing garden and paved terrace with shrubs and lawn. It has a 'cart-shed' garage, together with parking for a second car.

This comfortably furnished 17th Century Grade II listed cottage is situated in the village of Denver, near Downham Market, in North Norfolk. Denver has a restored working windmill with café, bakery and craft shops, and there is local fishing (in season), a golf club, sailing on the River Ouse and plenty of walks from the door. In the village (200yds) there is a Post Office/Stores and The Bell pub is friendly, allows dogs and serves food Tuesday to Sunday. Downham Market, a mile away, offers shops, cafés restaurants and pubs. 30 miles away is the North Norfolk Coast with beaches, nature and RSPB reserves. Hunstanton offers traditional seaside attractions, Blue Flag beaches, Sealife Centre, watersports and boat trips to visit the basking seal colony. Brancaster is on the popular North Norfolk Coast and was originally a Roman Fortress built about 300AD as part of the coastal defences. The village is now a quiet little resort with a handsome church, a modern, well-stocked general store about a 2 minute walk along a pretty very narrow lane, and a village pub where children are welcome, and which offers good food. There are numerous high quality restaurants on your doorstep. There is a sailing school at Brancaster Staithe and the Royal West Norfolk Golf Course is at Brancaster. Burnham Market is about 3 miles away and has around 40 attractive shops.

Situated just a pleasant short walk from the beach, the cottage is at the end of a narrow lane with open farmland to the South and West. The lane is part of the North Norfolk Coastal path and all that you are liking to see passing the door are walkers, dogs and the occasional tractor. The house and garden are ideal for guests with children or dogs as the rear of the cottage is enclosed. There is a lovely light sitting room with open fire, dining area, kitchen, bathroom with bath and powerful shower, two double and one single bedrooms. The kitchen is equipped with double oven and hob, microwave, fridge and washing machine. Behind and to the side of the cottage is a lovely sheltered patio and private garden. It is reached via a track, yet despite its rural aspect it is situated in the heart of the village of Roydon close the the Sandringham estate and only a 20 minute drive from the coast. The cottage is situated close to the village centre yet it is set in a tranquil location with fields to the front and woodland to the rear. Guests visiting the cottage have full access to the gardens, deck area and parking spaces. Children are well catered-for too, with excursions to see the seals and birds in their natural environment at Blakeney Point, The Muckleburgh Collection (the UK's largest privately owned working military museum), Glandford Shell Museum (charming Victorian museum with unique collection of seashells, fossils etc.) as well as The Norfolk Shire Horse Centre at West Runton.

Downstairs, the cottage has an open plan living area with stripped pine floor, which comprises lounge area with comfortable sofas, B&O Hi-Fi system and woodburning stove in Inglenook fireplace, a dining area with table and chairs, an excellently equipped kitchen in sky blue including dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, fridge and separate freezer. Also a toilet and washbasin. Upstairs there are three bedrooms (all with original stripped pine floors) and the bathroom,(beautiful kitted out in contemporary style with roll top bath, Hudson Reed power shower and latest Fired Earth tiles); the Master bedroom has wrought-iron double bed, pine wardrobes and drawers, the second and third attic bedroom are twins, again with pine furniture. The attic room or look out has fabulous views of Blakeny Marsh and Point. Particularly good for any bird watchers. White bedlinens and fluffy towels are provided.

The cottage has three bedrooms and can accommodate 6 adults/children and an infant in a cot. The property benefits from a welcoming lounge with a gas wood burning stove, TV with Freeview and DVD player. In addition there is also another relaxing sitting room which leads through to the fully equipped kitchen and utility room with dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, fridge/freezer, electric oven and microwave. This charming single storey three bedroom period flint and brick cottage is set in a secluded position, in the centre of the Norfolk coastal village of Brancaster, within walking distance of the beach and golf course. The area is very popular for birdwatching, walking, sailing and other watersports.

The cottage is over 150 years old, but has recently been refurbished throughout to a high standard by its interior designer owner. The accommodation comprises dining area with stone floor, leading through to the kitchen, which is fully equipped, including a dishwasher. Conveniently situated in Docking village there are pubs, a great fish and chip shop and a very good village store. Best of all is the easy access to the beautiful coast five miles away and the attraction of the inland villages. Burnham Market, six miles away, boasts quirky shops, delis, fish mongers and good restaurants. Beyond is the charming old fashioned seaside resort of Hunstanton with fantastic beaches, watersports, fun fair and supermarkets.

Even though there are so many things to do visitors say they find it hard to leave the cottage feeling relaxed with its comfy, individual vibe. There are two large stylish doubles and a single with bunkbeds. A large well equipped kitchen has a huge stove and all ‘mod cons’. There’s a bathroom and separate loo. The 32 foot long living and dining area is vast with dining table, a huge sofa, armchairs and a beautiful working fireplace as its centrepiece. There’s TV, DVD, video and CD player and loads of books, games and puzzles. There are three separate outside spaces to enjoy as well.

Heron and Kingfisher cottages are in a pleasant position close to the River Ant on The Norfolk Broads. The village Staithe is nearby and is the perfect place to stroll and watch the boats and wildlife.

Both cottages were newly built in 2003 and are redecorated and fitted to a good standard. The bedrooms are on the ground floor with French doors off the main bedroom to a private south facing patio. The comfortable living area on the first floor has a balcony with patio furniture and views over the countryside.

Sutton is well placed for visiting and touring the area. The coast is only 5 miles away and picturesque villages and historic market towns are all within easy distance. There is a quaint country pub near to the river which serves the best and most reasonably priced meals in the area. They have regular weekly specials nights when steaks, roasts and curries are only £4.50. We have eaten there many times and can recommend it. One small/medium well behaved dog is welcome at Heron at a modest charge.
