This delightful little end-terrace cottage in the sleepy Breton village of St Tugdual has created a surprisingly spacious gite and provides an ideal holiday for a couple on their own or with a baby. The cottage is particularly light and airy, and many of the furnishings have been recently renewed as it is also our holiday home. The small walled courtyard is totally private, and is planted with flowers and shrubs where you can relax in peace and seclusion. Downstairs is a kitchen / diner with quality craftsman made solid wood units, cooker, fridge, microwave, dining table / chairs and a high chair. The dining area looks out through French windows which lead onto the courtyard with garden furniture and barbeque. The sitting room is tastefully decorated with polished wood floor and woodburning stove set in an old-fashioned fireplace. Upstairs is a double bedroom in the converted loft, with a separate alcove containing a wooden cot for a baby. The good sized shower room with modern suite leads off the bedroom. |

Gite Clemella is a converted stone barn on a quiet farm in a small hamlet 2kms from the market town of Questembert, 20 minutes drive from the coast and the pleasure beach of Damgan. The property has been renovated with all the comforts, yet all original features have been kept intact, including exposed stone walls and a magnificent open fire place. The accommodation comprises open plan kitchen, lounge with open fire, TV, hifi and comfortable sofa bed, bathroom, and one bedroom with twin beds. The setting is lovely - in front there is a small terrace with table and chairs, and the grounds are all enclosed and therefore suitable for children. in it’s own grounds in a quiet hamlet of six properties near Guemene
Sur Scorff, Brittany, this delightful detached cottage nestles on
the south side of a gently sloping hill. There is no through
road, so it is very peaceful. The nearest small shop is about
two miles away, at Kernescleden, with Guemene Sur Scorff about five
miles away for a large supermarket, doctors, chemists, banks
etc. Lake Guerledan offers most waters sports, beaches and even
pleasure boat trips. A nearer and smaller lake but still offering
swimming etc is Lake Priziac. The nearest beaches on the coast
would be between Guidel plages and Lorient, offering miles of sandy
beaches. The cottage accommodation is all on one level with a large lounge / kitchen / diner with exposed beams and tiled floor. The lounge area has three settees grouped around the woodburner and a radio/cassette player. The kitchen is equipped with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge, spin drier, dining table and chairs, with French doors opening onto the patio for al fresco dining. There are two bedrooms (1dbl, 1 twin) and bathroom with toilet, washbasin and tiled shower. Outside, there is a small enclosed garden in front of the cottage, which contains a patio and BBQ, with garden furniture and cottage garden flower beds. There is ample parking in the courtyard area and plenty of room for children to kick a ball around or ride bikes. |

the two towns of Plouguenast and Ploeuc sur Lie, each with a variety
of shops and restaurants, and 10 minutes from the medieval town of
Moncontour. Within half and hour there is the coastal town of
St. Brieuc which has both a traditional town centre and a large retail
shopping complex, including Carrefour. The ground floor comprises an open plan living room with television, dining area and a well equipped kitchen area. There is also a ground floor bathroom with a bath, shower, basin and W.C. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. Outside, there is a 10m x 5m outdoor swimming pool and a private sitting area with patio table and chairs and a barbeque. just south of Mur de Bretagne in the Blavet valley. It is ideally
situated in the centre of Brittany within easy reach of the Lac De
Guerledan, offering plenty of watersports, historic towns, golf courses
and beaches. On the outskirts of the village, this restored farmhouse has a large open plan living room downstairs with huge granite fireplace, leather sofas and UK satellite TV. The kitchen area is fully equipped and includes a washing machine. An oak staircase leads to the first floor which has two double bedrooms with a shower room and separate toilet between the bedrooms. The next floor is set out in the same style, with two twin bedrooms. Outside the property is set in a graveled courtyard with barns and the owners' gite. The large gardens lead down to the river Blavet to which we have approx 100 metres of river frontage. There are many walks and cycle tracks nearby also the Lac de Guerledan for watersports etc is a few minutes away. We have cycles our guests are welcome to use. |

The Moulin de la Touche holiday cottages are situated on the bank of a lovely trout fishing river in a protected valley, and form part of a six acre estate consisting of parkland and forest areas. The cottages are very well secluded but remain in walking distance from the village of Plouguenast itself, which is just a minute's walk away.
