	'Roman-Style' 10x4m heated swimming pool!! Situated just 5 minutes from the charming village of Plemy in the atmospheric Cotes D'Armour, this beautiful spacious Breton country villa has been tastefully restored for 2003 to provide luxury accommodation for up to 10 people. It is an ideal location from which to explore the region's varied coastline, beautiful countryside or partake of it's widely renowned shellfish and other local food and drink traditions. A number of stunning and varied park and coastal GOLF COURSES exist within easy reach ; River, lake and Coastal FISHING opportunities abound in this lakes,rivers and coastal region ; BIRDWATCHING enthusiasts will be delighted by the range of habitats within the region and the not inconsiderable amount of birds that can be viewed within Le Moulin Neuf grounds themsleves e.g. our resident Robins, Woodpecker, Owls and more !

The Gite

Set in 2 acres of tranquil woodland with its own babbling stream, this spacious gite has been tastefully restored to include all the modern luxuries, yet retain its traditional character. It is fully centrally heated, as well as having 2 cosy woodburning stoves in the lounge and games room.

In detail, the accommodation comprises:-

Lovely Breton Country Kitchen with pine refectory table
Utility Room with sink, washing machine and tumble dryer
Massive Games Room with pool / snooker, table-tennis, darts, bar-football, as well as a selection of board and other indoor games;

Stairs lead up to a Minstrel's Gallery landing, off which are 3 bedrooms:-

Large 'Family' room with double bed and two single beds, plus brand new Ensuite Room with 'jet' shower, handbasin etc
Two good sized double bedrooms
Large fully-tiled Main family bathroom, newly refurbished for 2003-4 with wash basin, new bath / shower etc
Separate wc

Outside, there are 2 acres of lovely and secluded open woodland and stream to meander or play in. At the front of the house, there is also a delightful Breton stone patio / courtyard area facing the stream and gardens, and a gravel drive / parking area. Benches, tables and chairs and a barbecue are all provided, as well as of course some Boules!!

Adjacent and to the rear of the house in a natural sun-trap area can be found the brand new 10 x 4 metres 'Roman-Style' heated swimming pool with large patio area, pool surround and adjacent landscaping. The pool is open from mid-May to mid-Sept. Holidaymakers are advised that access to the Swimming Pool and Pool Area is via a set of wooden steps at the rear of the house, that may be a little difficult to negotiate for the elderly with infirmity / restricted mobility or anybody with similar difficulties due to disability.

The Area

The charming village of Plemy is about 5 minutes' drive away, with its pretty church, bars, shops, post-office, petrol station, bakery/patisserie and more. We are also just minutes away from the medieval towns of Moncontour, and, slightly further away, Dinan. There are numerous other picturesque French villages and towns within easy reach, with a variety of leisure amenities (swimming, tennis, golf etc) and shops, markets restaurants, festivals etc. There is plenty to do in the immediate area, including Cycling, walking, lake-country, rivers, fishing and renowned North Coast Golf.

The Cotes D’Armour ( Country of the Sea, as first named by the ancient Celts ) region of Central Brittany is an area of natural beauty, atmosphere and fascinating independence and tradition. The gite is ideally placed for exploring the region’s varied coastline, mysterious Celtic past and beautiful countryside. The famed North and South Brittany coasts are within ˝ and 1 ˝ hours drive respectively, and the Sites and places of cultural, historical and geographical interest are too numerous to mention!!

The area is also widely renowned for its Shellfish and other local food and drink traditions, and we will happily provide you with advice on good places to sample these!!

Getting There

The gite is convenient for the ferry ports, with major routes with little traffic to the holiday area. The airport at Dinard, served by the Low Cost Airline Ryanair out of Stansted, is also only an hours drive away.
